Sparkles Dare

Today’s Style Dare was “sparkles”. Possibly the sparkliest item of clothing I own is this scarf – my only sequinned number.

I’ve kept a low profile this week – running on limited sleep with two unwell kids. Some days it’s been too much to even get dressed up for 10 minutes to take photos. We’ve had a lot of pyjama days, which you are definitely never going to get a picture of!

I tried again to pull off a purple/blue/red combination – while I prefer it over my last effort it’s not quite there yet. The third picture shows the colours together, which I love, but the balance is completely lost with my denim jacket. Which is unfortunately a must as my navy top has short sleeves. I did buy a navy cardigan today (a little boring, but handy to have), so possibly this will be useful in achieving my little goal here.
